Soup and Crackers
A big bean broth made with the biggest white beans I could find, some chopped courgette, shallots, tomatoes and herbs and a good vegetable stock.
My favourite way of using up scraps of puff pastry, marmite palmiers. You can also make 'straws' from the same ingredients. Savoury, crispy and delicious.

Your bean broth looks delicious. I'm a big fan of beans and use them a lot. My daughter has been a strict vegetarian for about 3 years now, since she was 8. So your blog is coming in very handy for inspiration!
Thanks Ruby, glad to be of use :)
Naturally this is best with your most precious vegetable stock but if you happen to have run out the Marigold Vegan Low salt stock powder is pretty damn good and available in 'free from' sections everywhere.
